Baum des ICH
Basierend auf einem religiösen, hinduistischen Ritual, ist dies ein ortsspezifisches, sozialökologisches Projekt, das respektvoll der Kraft der Natur entgegenkommt , indem man zu einem Baum betet. Im hinduistischen Ritual umwickeln die Menschen einen Banyanbaum mit gelben und roten Schnüren während sie tanzend durch Sprechgesänge ihre guten Wünsche für das Leben, die Familie und die Natur kundtun. In meinem Projekt Tree of I, werden wir allerdings keine Wünsche an die Natur aussprechen, sondern wir offerieren Fragen an die Natur. Ausgehend von meinen Kindheitserinnerungen und dem originalen Zeremoniell Bad Savitri, kreierte ich dieses neue Ritual in Hinblick auf meine existenzialistische und interventionistische Sozialkunsttätigkeit.
Anleitung
Runde 1
Das Auswählen eines Farbbandes und Herumwickeln um den Baumstamm ist der Anfang dieser interaktiven Performance. Danach musst du eine Frage an den Baum stellen, welche du entweder auf ein Blatt Papier oder auf einen beliebigen Gegenstand der Natur schreibst. Die Frage, die du stellst, soll sich auf das ICH beziehen.
Runde 2
Jeder von uns wählt nun eine Frage von dem Baum, welche jedoch nicht von einem selbst stammt, schreibt sie auf ein Farbband und bindet sich dieses nun um seinen Arm. Nun suche eine Person, welche ein Farbband derselben Farbe um den Arm trägt, die du aber nicht kennst. Wenn beide einverstanden sind, tauschen sie die Fragen aus, diskutieren sie und suchen gemeinsam nach einer Antwort.
Runde 3
Jeder der die ersten beiden Runden abgeschlossen hat, sucht sich nun einen beliebigen Platz am Seedcamp, wo er die Antwort auf einem Band derselben Farbe niederschreibt und dort platziert. Das Farbband kann auch an einem Ast, Baum oder Stein befestigt werden. Bitte zerstört jedoch nicht die natürliche Umgebung des Seedcamps!!!
Nach Abschluss der drei Runden kann wieder eine neue Frage gestellt werden, die jedoch auf ein Farbband einer anderen Farbe geschrieben werden sollte.
Dauer: bis zum Verlassen des Festivals

The tree of I
Based on a Hindu religious ritual, this site-specific ecosocial art project (an Interactive Performance Installation) pays respect to the power of nature by praying to a tree. In the Hindu ritual, people wrap yellow and red thread around a Banyan tree, dancing and chanting their good wishes for life, family, and nature. In “Tree of I, however, it is not wishes for nature but questions to nature that we offer, prayers opening up to the surprises nature offers us.
Drawing on my own childhood memories of the original ritual (Bad Savitri), I am creating this new ritual in light of my existential philosophy and my interventionist social art practice. Each choosing a color, we will circle the tree, wrapping the threads of self around it as we chant and sing our questions play music. As we ask our questions of nature – and I am certain it has the answers – we must take care, of course, not to hurt it once more. In “Tree of Life”, to truly ask a question of the tree, we must use what we find in nature to create our question: some leaves, some dirt, something the tree can feel, something the tree might answer. Ritual will continue at night with light .Each light a small candle; show it a place to respect the tree.
It’s a ritual for self. Tree is symbol of a universal I, the Iwhich have no body, no sex only experiences and questions. An experience from nature, to nature, for nature .the color is the symbol of experiences, and the questions which make a journey with the experiences to the I. Let’s search the answer. For nature or for self.
Round 1
Choosing a color thread and warping it around the tree is the beginning of this interactive performance. End of each round we have to put a question on tree, how it’s on free imagination. If you don’t find anything natural you can use paper which is also available. The Question should belongs to I.
Round 2
Each of us choose a question from the tree which was not created by him or her, then choose a color thread and tie it to your arm. Find a person who has the same color thread and whom you don’t know, after mutual understanding the two have to share both questions with each other.
Round 3
Each of us who finished the first two rounds has to search a place in the festival area .This found place is the place where we can put our conclusion, in same form of color thread which was use for the question. “Maybe I would Like to use a branch of a tree or a stone or ..?” Duration- until to leave the festival place
