As the idea to involve three youth culture associations with the co-creation of the festival in 2009 worked out beyond expectations, this year three more associations (Astralzone, Radios CZ, cultureWork) and many more people from the cultural field will be involved in the whole happening
In a defined time frame and place, in the open atmosphere of the festival they have the opportunity to present their asociations`character and mission- the international and creative flair permits in this context automatically a new positioning and a benefit for further exchange of all participants
- While- in 2009- Lepschi and Epos 4 created the music programme of the forest stage seperately and independantly, this time they will shape the evenings together, whereby Lepschi`s main focus will be on the coordination of the program and Epos 4 will take care of the expansion of Deck 16 (a multifunctional 80 m² wood construction on multiple levels as interactive & playful biotope of the creative „Waldviertler“ youth scene)It will be developed little by little spaciously and decoratively during the following festivals and thereby presents a document of the festival´s history.During the day the fusion floor will be enlivened by the lovely people of cosmic kindergarten by coordinating and supervising different workshops. The themes will reach from alternative ways of living, natural parenthood, relaxation and meditation, attentiveness and communication to permaculture and landscape gardening(see also „workshops“)
- The experimental zone in the millroom will be coordinated and supervised by sub etasch during the evenings- in the daytime there will be multimedia- & dj-workshops by cultureWork, which will flow organically into jamsessions and furtheron into the evening program of sub etasch, which again should develop into open jamsessions- sort of fusion of artists, culture associations and guests in an open frame. Sub etasch will also invite artists and musicians of Vienna´s culture association „viennese soulfood“.
- Astralzone and cultureWork- together with different national and international artists- will realize a multidimensional installation out of light and sound (the „sound-space- ship“) on the play area behind the small house and draw the bow from indian classical to contemporary, electronic music.The base will partly be the „cosmic octave“. In this system the different vibrations of the planet´s cycles or molecular structures are octaved up and down to the hearable frequence and taken as a musical frame.
- The open internet- radio channel „Radios CZ“ with its roots in the czech border region in the district Jindrichuv Hradec take it as their task to provide young anticommercial music from the czech republic and bordering foreign countries an uncomplicated platform.In the festival context the existing ressources will be brought in by co-creating the music program and a cosy designed space for a t-shirt print workshop with archaic smoothing iron as well as good tee will serve as contact point on the festival site for further transboundary networking.
- The „Agora“- concert and performance stage will be shaped by all together.
We intend to develop the fusion character further by involving more youth culture associations and initiatives for the diversity of the upcoming festivals- without losing ourselves in arbitrarity.
